Close to the Via Nazionale, the Hotel Lirico is located on Via del Viminale, leading to the Piazza, home of the Department of the Interior, and to the Piazza dei Cinquecento, which overlooks the Roma Termini train station.

Our hotel overlooks the Teatro dell’Opera, one of the world’s most renowned opera houses, which has hosted conductors of the caliber of Toscanini, Metha, Solti, Rostropovich and Muti.

Only steps away from the Hotel Lirico is the Palazzo Massimo, the heart of Rome’s National Museum, close to Santa Maria degli Angeli Church and the archaeological collections in the Diocletian Baths, not far from Santa Maria Maggiore basilica.

The Piazza della Repubblica, just 200 meters from the hotel, is a popular spot for the Fontana della Naiadi and Octagonal Room of the Baths of Diocletian, in which the bronze statue “Boxer at Rest” is perfectly conserved.

Within walking distance of the hotel, or using the Termini or Repubblica subway stops, are Rome’s most famous monuments, such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the church of San Pietro in Vincoli with the famous statue of Moses by Michelangelo, as well as the city’s major administrative and cultural sites.

The hotel is located in the historic center within the ZTL; for those who need to park the car in the guarded area, use, subject to confirmation, the partner garage located in Via del Viminale, 3 (150 meters away from our hotel).
